Le Meridiane

Difficult to find a place to relax especially on weekends in the height of summer. I was passing through with some friends and we decided to stop at the village to enjoy some relaxation in the pool. At the entrance the owner welcomed us kindly despite his busy schedule with calls and queues of customers at the door. Spacious and well-kept swimming pool but above all I would say "versatile" without any careful selection of ages and people, it is suitable for families and young people. The background music is also beautiful. We had lunch at the restaurant but there was a bit of confusion when booking the table and it was really embarrassing not knowing if we could sit or leave. The lady was unclear, perhaps it was her first day. Once seated she didn't give us time to choose the menu and when we told her to wait a few minutes she replied in a rude and unprofessional manner saying that we could spend the whole time choosing because she had other things to do. The cuisine, which I could call "spectacular", felt like being in an expensive, luxury restaurant! All in all I highly recommend the Le Meridiane village.

The Le Meridiane Resort is the right place for those who want to spend a holiday of pure relaxation. When you arrive in this "oasis" close to the beautiful sea of the Molise Costa Verde you can stop thinking. It is the most unusual tourist village known so far, which captures and envelops you, taking you out of the chaos of the city in a second. To welcome us we found the owner, immediately renamed "Don Luigi" for his Boss attitude who manages to solve every problem in no time, polite and with a strong organizational sense, the right commander of a willing and heterogeneous brigade . When on the second day a frightening storm, with unprecedented winds, practically turned everything inside out like a sock, he knew how to coordinate his staff well, men and women of all ages, and in just over an hour everything had been restored , intact, as if nothing had happened. Others would remain on their knees for days. And so you realize that there are people there who work with dedication and passion, united, like a family. And you feel part of it when you discover the first "gem" that characterizes this village: you return from the sea (which is 100/150 meters away) where you have already enjoyed the equipped lido, the immense beach, the crystal clear water, the aperitif at the bar with friends, or you return from a morning in the huge swimming pool, and find the sunny Loredana waiting for you at the restaurant to "pick up" the ready-made pasta for the whole family! We know, the sea is tiring... but they also thought about this: why burden a "mother on holiday" with the task of preparing lunch? They'll take care of it for free. And we appreciated this original "service" every day, which truly deserves applause. Never seen something like this anywhere else! But the second "gem" left us even more speechless: the "Romagna evening" on Thursday. The whole garden is tinged with Romagna, there in Molise, lights, tables, music and a free buffet offered by the owner to all guests of the village. The porchetta, the sausage, the pizzas, the side dishes, the wines are served by all the staff, animated by the usual cheerful cheerfulness that distinguishes it, and the village becomes the location of a Romagna festival! Yet another pleasant discovery was, then, the place where they ingeniously built all this: we soon discover that we are not in a pleasant remote place on the Molise coast, where the landscape is apparently very sparsely inhabited, but we are 200 meters from the border Abruzzo/Molise, with the nightlife of San Salvo Marina, Vasto, but also a few km from enchanting places such as Termoli or the Tremiti islands or the Abruzzo Zoo. Every day deserves to be lived to the full, enjoying the beautiful Molise sea and ending it with a visit to the beautiful things these two regions have to offer: it's all within reach. In conclusion, therefore, I say to you: go there, enjoy a holiday there, you will not miss anything and you will feel at home. We will return for sure.

As soon as we arrive and after a quick exploration the impression is certainly not the best. The structure is not maintained and fully shows its age. The paths and green areas are roughly clean, there is also some misleading advertising... among the photos on the site there were a couple that showed a kiosk used as a gym with a multipurpose tool inside, well the the kiosk is walled up, the outdoor fitness path non-existent, the table tennis not even in the shade. The dinner was not bad, but nothing special, the swimming pool was nice, but not very clean. The beach is really very dirty, the lifeguard, instead of staying on the assigned tower, remains calmly lying on the sunbed while biting into a sandwich during working hours. The water system in the rooms works a bit as it happens, if you have flushed the toilet you cannot have a constant flow of water in the shower. However, we paid €980 for three people plus a 4-legged member welcomed without any problem and a fourth person is hosted for free. The price includes an overnight stay and a takeaway for lunch, the meals were good and in adequate portions. Breakfast is not included, you pay for the hood and... the frozen croissants. The room on the other hand is comfortably spacious, double bed and a sofa bed for the studio apartment, both not very comfortable, but not uncomfortable, the usual thin pillows. Ultimately, 4 stars are advertised, but probably one and perhaps even two were comets and disappeared. Anyway we paid the right amount for what we were offered and we had a good time, but it certainly isn't a 4 star. Suitable for those who don't want to spend a lot and don't have many demands.

Suitable for spending family holidays! Lots of toys for children (bicycles, scooters, go karts, swings, various plastic toys). The only flaw was only one go kart available for the entire residence. We liked the atmosphere that all the organizers were able to convey, especially to a group of "special, Down" kids. Seeing them cry because their stay was over was sad but at the same time it made us smile as they are truly special! We also saw the preparations for a wedding, the guests, the spouses themselves supported the residence. We stayed in a comfortable studio apartment with a large terrace, ideal for a family of 4! Staircase A Ginestra building. If I can give some advice: make the rooms prettier and more comfortable, softer and taller cushions, a more assorted small kitchen kit (dishwashing liquid, sponge, roll of scotex). In a 4 star it could really make a difference and that right leap in quality! But above all, please your guests! In any case, all our requests were immediately welcomed by the staff! The covered and reserved indoor parking is very convenient! Good location both for the sea and for visiting cities such as: Termoli, Casalbordino sea and Vasto. To eat excellent Abruzzo kebabs and excellent pizza I highly recommend: "I laghi del Sole" in Casalbordino mare!
